NEWERA - WHAT IS IT, AND WHAT HAPPENS TO HELHEIM?
NewEra — A New Path for MU.LV
Two servers. One MU.LV community.
There is no Helheim wipe planned. Your characters, items, progress, guilds and economy remain exactly where they are.
Over the last days we have seen many questions about NewEra:What is it? Is Helheim being replaced? Should I stop progressing? Should I wait?
The answer is simple: NewEra is not a replacement for Helheim.It is a separate MU.LV project built so we can try a much deeper Season 6 rebalance without risking the years of progress already created on Helheim.
Helheim and NewEra — what is the difference?

Helheim remains the established MU.LV world with its existing players, economy, characters, guilds and current balance model.

NEWERA
NewEra will be a fresh-start server built around a different balance philosophy designed specifically for the MU.LV 32K stat environment.

- PvM and PvP handled separately
- Fresh progression experience
NewEra is more than different rates
The idea behind NewEra is not to create the same server with a fresh database.We are rebuilding the way many core systems work together.
The new model includes changes and testing around:
- HP, MP, AG and SD scaling
- Damage and defense models for all 7 classes
- Main PvM and PvP skills
- Mana Shield, Greater Life, Elf buffs and SU / DL / RF buffs and debuffs
- Master Skill Tree upgrades
- Separate PvM and PvP balance logic
- Equipment and armor balance
- Mastery equipment progression
- Set and Ancient item options
- Boss and event compatibility with the new damage model
- Progression from a completely fresh character toward mid and end game
Equipment is also part of the new model. Armor defense, mastery progression and item options are being adjusted together with the class system instead of balancing characters separately from their gear.
This is exactly why we did not simply apply the NewEra configuration directly to Helheim.The changes are too large, and Helheim already contains years of player progress and a real economy.We do not want to use that progress as an experiment.
Fresh economy — but MU.LV remains connected
NewEra characters, player items and its game economy will start from zero and remain separate from Helheim.
However, both servers still belong to the same MU.LV ecosystem.The MU.LV account and website are shared, and we are already building systems that benefit players on both servers.
One example is the Vote system
When a player votes for MU.LV, the current Vote reward system is designed to creditWCoin for both Helheim and NewEra.
We also plan other benefits of this type, so supporting MU.LV does not necessarily mean choosing only one of the two servers.
Something for our existing MU.LV players
Players who have already been part of MU.LV will not simply be treated as completely unknown newcomers when NewEra opens.
We are preparing veteran bonuses for existing MU.LV players.These rewards are planned to be mainly cosmetic or status-related and willnot give a PvP advantage.
The goal is simple: recognize people who have supported and played MU.LV before,while keeping the NewEra fresh start fair for everyone.
Which server will become the main direction?
We do not want to decide that artificially before players have even had the chance to try NewEra.
Players will be able to choose:Helheim, NewEra, or both.
If both servers build their own active communities, guilds, markets and economies,our intention is to support and develop both in parallel.
NewEra will also give us something we never had before: the possibility to test the rebuilt PvP model with real players over time.
If NewEra proves successful and players consider its PvP model better,we may later discuss adapting selected successful PvP solutions to Helheim as well.
This would never be done automatically.Such a major change to Helheim would only be considered after NewEra has proven itself in real gameplayand after a proper player voting procedure.
Helheim players would therefore have a direct say before any major NewEra-style PvP changes could be introduced there.
Why are we doing this?
Because after many years of MU.LV, we want to see how far Season 6 can be pushedif characters, skills, items, PvM, PvP and progression are treated as one complete system.
Helheim protects what we already built.
NewEra gives us room to build something new.
You will decide which world you prefer.
